Family Room (preview excerpt)
Co-presented with New Works and The Dance Centre, Family Room recreates a studio apartment through a set design of furniture and home decor. This set design is the foundation for a series of solos to interact with the same household objects, each object representing a relationship, dynamic, and history between different family members. Featuring dancers Tamar Tabori, Justin Calvadores, and Shana Wolfe alongside choreography by Marissa Wong.
This excerpt will be followed by a discussion with the artists, led by mental health professional Brie-Ana Laboucane.
The full work will premiere in The Dance Centre’s 2023-24 season.

PLUNGE Mentorship Project project is a paid mentored project in creation and performance providing opportunities for emerging and early-career artists.

Costume Design
Stage Management
Thank you to everyone who came to our PLUNGE Movement Audition. We had 53 attendees and now have the tough decision of filling a limited number of positions.
