A reflection on this past year…
I'm excited to take a moment and share a bit about the amazing ride we've had in the last year, I couldn’t be prouder of the creative adventures and team we have fostered.
In February, we went through a social media and marketing makeover with ElevinElevin Creative Agency. They breathed new life into our digital presence, adding cohesiveness to our brand. It was a game-changer for our outreach and engagement with all of you!

March was setting up some of the teachings from the few months prior! We had an online open call and had a blast at MascallDance’s BLOOM with the incredible Caroline MacCaull. Art, comedy, and wine – always a great time.

In April, the response to the PLUNGE Mentorship Project brought attention to the necessity and strength of free, open audition calls. And the sold-out preview excerpt of 'Family Room' with The Dance Centre was an amazing first presentation. We've officially set the date for the world premiere April 19-20, 2024 – can’t wait to share with you!

Come June, we were in Sointula, BC, with filmmaker Jared Davis. At the BC Movement Arts Society Residency, we built new collaborations for our upcoming project as Artist-in-Residence for Dance Victoria. We are excited to develop the work further June 2024!
Lastly, in October 2023 we had our performances for PLUNGE Mentorship Project which highlighted the works of our incredible production and movement mentees, alongside our mentors. It was a supportive process for all and we can’t wait for our next round of this project soon.

This year has been a rollercoaster of creativity, connections, and new possibilities. The Falling Company is about learning through the creation of communities. As I further understand my role as Artistic Director, I'm so grateful for your support on this wild and wonderful journey.
